Primary Care Physician
Marilyn is a board-certified Internal and Lifestyle Medicine Physician. Marilyn’s passion is to apply Lifestyle Medicine both personally and professionally, regularly cooking her own plant-based meals while motivating her patients to engage in evidence-based lifestyle change to prevent, treat, and reverse chronic disease.
Born and raised in Florida, Marilyn graduated from The University of Florida College of Medicine. She then decided to venture west to complete her residency at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, California. In her free time, she and her husband enjoy the outdoors: mountain biking, hiking, playing golf, and tennis.

RN Practice Manager
Lilian loves working in healthcare because it is both rewarding and fulfilling. But what keeps her (and what she is in love with) is that there are always changes keeping her engaged and on her toes. Being a nurse gives her a variety of different specialties and niches, so she’s been able to find what’s right for her personality type, and loves that if she wants to change her specialty one day, nursing is a field that gives her the flexibility to do just that. She’s happy to be in an industry full of selfless individuals, one that allows her to serve the community as well as develop professionally.
Lilian earned a BS in Health Science from California State University, East Bay, and an AS in Nursing from City College of San Francisco. Prior to her role as Practice Lead, she worked as the Nurse Manager/Office Manager at a pediatric primary care office in SF, where she developed a passion for working with and encouraging new parents. She also worked in a Med-Surg unit at a small community hospital in her hometown of Delano, California, which is where she got experience working on a code-blue team. Lilian also learned the value of having culturally competent providers, nurses, and support staff while she was in that role. All of her experiences have shaped her as a nurse, and helped her consider each unique path that the people she’s helping might be on—including patients, family members, or the staff she serves.
Outside of work, Lilian enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, and baking.
Melinda is a compassionate Registered Nurse who has been practicing the art of nursing for over 32 years. She is detailed and highly motivated to provide competent patient care. She enjoys getting to know her patients and developing a strong professional rapport with them. She has worked in both hospital and outpatient settings in the areas of orthopedics, neurology, apheresis, and oncology. Melinda believes in the power of preventive medicine to improve patient outcomes. Born in Dallas, Melinda’s family moved to a small copper mining town in Arizona at the age of four. From a very young age she knew she either wanted to be a teacher or a nurse, and when she discovered that nursing entails a lot of patient education, she felt that could satisfy both of her ambitions. In her spare time she enjoys tennis, travel, reading, and spending time with her husband, three children, and grandson.

What makes me unique: I was very lucky to travel extensively when I was younger. Seeing people from all walks of life living so differently from myself (and each other) had a profound impact on me. I am open to looking at things in new ways and always willing to listen.
Why do I practice healthcare: I work in healthcare because I genuinely enjoy helping others, and I wanted a career that would allow me to continue learning over the course of my lifetime. I have been lucky enough to find both these qualities through a career in Chinese medicine.
